You know what I miss?
Stacks of books.
Back at the house I had my little bookcase with about 30-40 books on it, and under my bed about 3 tubs filled with hundreds of books that I was going to trade on Paperbackswap when I had money.
Now I have none of that. Those hundreds of books went to the library (and I see them there often) and the rest packed away. I think I even donated most of those as well because we didn’t have space for them.
I really, really miss them. I miss looking over and just seeing all the familiar covers, the spines that are fading because I’ve read them so much, and miss rereading my favorites. I know I told myself I needed to work on my TBR books and I should read only new books, but sometimes you need the comfort of an old friend.
If you have a slight thing for history, royalty, the Bonaparte’s, fancy balls, and weeping at the end of books I highly suggest The Princess of Nowhere by Prince Lorenzo Borghese.
Library books. Going to go through all the books I can get from my library before I dive back into my trove of ebooks, which I will read while waiting for my requested books.
Currently Reading is all books I’ve requested from the library in the last couple days and am waiting for.
Still have to sort through the not-out-yet books because I know some of them are out now.
And then slowly work through the request from library books.
It would just be easier to fucking move to a bigger county that has these books in their library. Or it’d be easier to have money to get them from PaperBackSwap since they’d only be about $3 each.
The fact that my list of books I can get from my library is only about 20, and books I have to request to read is almost at 200 really makes me sad and makes me want to donate all the money to my library so they can expand and get more books.
I mean, those 20 books are out of the whole COUNTY, and it’s not like those 200 are obscure books.
And I get to check out only 6 of those 200 at a time (and the 200 is going to grow by a lot).
Finished A Lion Among Men today.
I really could have done without 90% of the book. It was just so boring and tedious. The only part that was interesting was the very last bit, and a couple bits in the middle (which all really had to do with Nor).
I’m going to start Out of Oz either tonight or tomorrow This series has really put me behind on my reading goal. I was like, 15 books ahead but now I’m 10 behind. I mean, I started this series the beginning of Feb.
Like seriously though, if you guys ever see me talk about a book I have on my kindle and you’d like to read it, just ask me, I can ‘loan’ it to you. I have over 1000 books, all you gotta do is ask.
Don’t know what books I got? Check my goodreads account . Check the read, currently reading, and read in 2012 shelves (I may not have all of the ones from 2012 still because ones I didn’t like I didn’t bother keeping, so again, just ask).
OMG
I JUST REALIZED
WITH MY MONEY I CAN BUY ALL THE WEBCOMIC BOOKS I’VE BEEN WANTING TO
I DON’T HAVE ANYWHERE TO PUT THEM BUT I CAN GET THEM

I also still have 2 books coming from the library for me that I’ll read whenever I get them.
I’m still accepting numbers for books. You should do it.
Again because I didn’t get enough replies yesterday!
PICK WHAT I READ TUMBLR
If you see this do it, I don’t care if you don’t know me, just do it okay? All you have to do is pick 2 numbers, pick more than 2 sets if you want! I don’t care, just give me numbers people:
- First number should be between 1-30
- Second number should be between 1-10
So what am I reading?
