So around 9pm ish, there was an 5.7 earthquake in Greenville, CA, which is 200 miles from us…and I felt it.

You know where I felt it?

On the 5th fucking floor of a parking garage with just me and the baby in the car. At first I thought it was just a car driving by because there is some vibrations when that happens, but there were no cars in sight, then it started to get more…rough in the car. Then I thought, maybe Lindsey and Mom got back quicker and they were playing a joke on me and rocking the car, but NOPE. So I’m sitting there terrified with Sofia and I’m just sitting there like “Should I take the baby and get out and go down the stairs?”

It went on for about 2 minutes, and I’m just sitting there rocking, watching the pine tree air freshener swinging back and forth, and Sofia is just sleeping. Then is slowed down and stopped.

Thankfully it didn’t start back up, because I told myself if I felt it again Sofia and I were gone. I’d run down fucking 5 flights of stairs. And again, thankfully, mom and Lindsey got back about 5 minutes after it happened.

I didn’t mention it because I thought maybe it was just a car, internet wasn’t working where I was so I couldn’t get on the casino’s wifi. Then when we dropped off Lindsey at home one of Tim’s brothers came out and he was like “Did you guys feel the earthquake?” and I felt validated.

In the Disney Dream there is a kiss goodnight button. When the button is pushed, you start to hear waterfall noises and slight giggles, and the painting above the bed turns from scenery to a mermaid-filled lagoon.

There’s one in each of the bedrooms!

One of the rooms has a train that goes all around the room when you hit the button.

Then there is the mermaid one.

And I think in the Jungle bedroom you hear something from the Tiki Room birds if I remember correctly.

But you can only press the buttons like 2x each if you ever get the chance to stay the night.
